What Should I Expect For My Initial Visit?
Your first visit will consist of a detailed history and thorough musculoskeletal examination to determine the cause and reason for the patient’s chief complaint. Both of these elements are substantial for an accurate diagnosis and a successful treatment plan. Once an accurate diagnosis is made, we will explain the reason for the injury and lay out a timeline and plan. Then, if the patient understands and agrees to the proposed management, initial treatment will take place consisting of soft tissue mobilization, possibly a chiropractic adjustment (depending on the nature and severity of the condition), functional taping, rehabilitation exercises, and/or activity modification instructions. The New Patient Exam typically takes 60 minutes in duration and sequential visits are 30 minutes in duration.

What Should I Wear?
You should wear/bring comfortable loose fitting clothing so you can expose the area that we will be evaluating and treating. For example, if you have a knee problem, it is best to wear shorts. For a shoulder problem, tank tops are a good choice, sports bras (for women) and for low back problems, wear a loose fitting shirt and pants, again so we can perform a thorough examination.
Can I Use My Insurance?
Most insurances will cover some amount of chiropractic services for each individual and will pay varying amounts of the bill. While in and out of network coverage vary greatly and each patient's needs are different, we make sure to inform each patient what their individual insurance benefits will cover. This will be related once the company responds to our inquiry. We are able to verify benefits with most carriers within 24 hours of the patient’s first visit to our office.
